Sept 2010 – Present:  Quality Coordinator/Risk and Compliance Manager  

Responsibility and Relevant Experience:

  • Implementation of quality improvement initiatives based off evidence-based medical practice and IHA and HFAP recommendations and requirements.
  • Project Manager for IHA initiative, Project RED (Reengineered Discharge)
  • Monitoring of Quality Improvement Program compliance with regulatory and accrediting agencies

Responsibility and Relevant Experience:

  • Implementation of quality improvement initiatives based off evidence-based medical practice and IHA and HFAP recommendations and requirements.
  • In-charge of a fully developed patient safety program that meets or exceeds The Joint Commission regulations.
  • Functions as the facilities Patient Safety Manager which includes the chairmanship of the cross-campus Enhancing Patient Safety committee
  • Collects, aggregates and analyzes data for reporting purposes to the Quality Committee, Medical Staff Executive committee, SMGSI Administrative Council and SSM Corporate Office
